National Numeracy Day

Please watch this short video to see what the children at St Alban's got up to on National Numeracy Day this year! Thank you to all the pupils who took part and all those who created their own maths inspired costumes! They were amazing!

We are celebrating National Numeracy Day on Wednesday 13th May 2020.

National Numeracy Day is all about recognising that numbers play a big part in all our lives and helping people sharpen their skills and build their confidence.

We are inviting children to dress up for this day and send their pictures/videos in of them celebrating National Numeracy Day!

Children can dress up in anything that represents maths, for example, a famous mathematician, a number or even a maths resource such as a dice or calculator!

Children can make their own maths hat or badge or even create their own maths inspired t-shirt! The more creative, the better!

Enjoy choosing some of the maths activities below for your Key Stage and completing them with your family!

If you Tweet your pictures, please use these hashtags:

 #NationalNumeracyDay and #EveryDayMaths

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for the most creative maths costume!

Have fun!
