Number Day 2021

Please watch this video to see what the children at St Alban's got up to on Number Day in support of the NSPCC this year! Thank you to everyone who took part and all those who created their own maths inspired costumes! They were amazing!

We are supporting the NSPCC by taking part in Number Day on Wednesday 7th May 2021.

Number Day is all about recognising that numbers play a big part in all our lives and helping people sharpen their skills and build their confidence.

We are inviting children to 'dress up for digits' to celebrate Number Day!

Children can dress up in anything that represents maths, for example, a famous mathematician, a number or even a maths resource such as a dice or calculator! Children can make their own maths hat or badge or even create their own maths inspired t-shirt! The more creative, the better!

Throughout the day we will be enjoying a variety of maths based activities in class and taking part in a special 'Smarties' investigation.
