Support during COVID-19

Wellbeing Wednesday

Each week during this period of lockdown, teachers will be focusing on a pupil wellbeing activity with the children each Wednesday. We know the pressures that many families are facing at this time and how difficult it can be for children who are at home and those that are coming to school.

Please remember you are not alone and seek support from us when needed.

Spring Half Term 'Growing' Project

We know learning remotely at home has been challenging for everyone this term so we thought we would ask all our children and families to get involved in a 'Growing' project during the half term.

We would like all our families at St Alban's School to enjoy God's creation. We welcome you all to come to school to collect some seeds to grow your family plant.

Please come to school on Thursday 11th February  between 1:00pm-2:45pm or on Friday 12th February between 9:30am-2:45pm to collect your seeds.

Please send pictures of your plants into your class teachers via the year group email address. We would love to see how you are getting on.

Good Luck!

“So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them with his skilful hands.”
Psalms 78:72

Could you make a poster with your child like the one below? Remind them of all the fantastic qualities they have. Perhaps they could make one for you too...My Dad is....My Mum is.... My Nan is....or for someone else that is special to them.

Brain breaks for children that give them essential wind-down time

These child-friendly guided breathing activity cards can help children to unwind. It is important that we give the children coping strategies when they are feeling anxious or worried. The brain breaks are easy for children to understand and follow and are useful for all ages.
