Building the Kingdom: Option for the Poor and Vulnerable

At Saint Alban’s, we believe that we are all part of one human family, created and loved by God. Our Building the Kingdom theme for the Spring Term, Option for the Poor and Vulnerable, encourages our school community to recognise Jesus’ special love for those who are poor, marginalised, or in need. We are called to follow Jesus by showing compassion, generosity, and justice, and by standing alongside those who are vulnerable in our world. Through our words and actions, we seek to care for others, ensuring that everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and love.

Building the Kingdom: Dignity of the Human Person

At Saint Alban's, we believe that we are all part of one human family, created and loved by God. Our Building the Kingdom theme for Autumn Term- Dignity of the Human Person encourages our school community to recognise that every human person is made in the image and likeness of God. This is a gift that we all share as fellow human beings; we are all infinitely loved by Jesus. Each one of us is unique and beautiful. We are called to treat every person and every creature with loving respect.

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us that we should be called children of God; and so we are." 1 John 3:1
