Reception Applications to start school in September 2025

Birmingham Local Authority deals with all school applications for Reception 2025.  They can be contacted on 0121 303 1888 or admissions@birmingham.gov.uk  or via the Local Authority website https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/schooladmissions

Should you have any specific questions or enquiries regarding admission to St Alban's, please get in touch with the school office 0121 444 6530.

Children born between 1 September 2020 - 31 August 2021 start Reception class in Primary School in September 2025.

1.  Apply online Birmingham Schools Reception Admissions

2.  Complete and return our school Supplementary Information Form to the school office with evidence of your child's baptismal certificate if they are a Catholic child.  

Please remember to complete both processes

Closing date for applications: 15 January 2025

Offers will be made: 16 April 2025   

Online applicants that submit their application with a valid email address will be sent an offer by email on 16 April 2025 by Birmingham City Council. 

Applications must be made online via the city council website.  

(If your home address is not in Birmingham you must apply to the relevant local authority for your home address.)
