Homework and Spellings

Homework w/c 17.1.22

Children were given the new project homework this week. For those children who handed in their homework books, the new homework sheets were glued into their book.

All other children were given a loose copy of the homework. Please find a copy below, just in case the sheet did not find its way home. 

(Also, please bear in mind that Maths and English homework is not set on same week that children receive project homework.)

On Monday 13th December, the children will be given an updated list of Year 5 and 6 statutory spelling words that we have been practising this term. They will assessed on the Tuesday and Wednesday of the first week back after Christmas (4th and 5th January 2022). Children will then spend the rest of that week practising any that they need to.

As a new project homework was sent home in homework books on Friday, there will be no additional Maths and English this week. However please see spellings for this week below. 

Hopefully the children have taken the opportunity over the last couple of weeks to practise the Year 5 and 6 words that we have covered. We will continue practising 5 words per week from the list until we complete the next 25. We will assess them again after Christmas.
