The children in Reception have been learning all about who to call in an emergency. The children have been discussing different stories and who they would need to call if they needed someone in an emergency. The children have been practising using play phones and what they should say once they type in 999.
Year 1
The children in Year One are learning about the United Kingdom. They have enjoyed learning about the four nations and their capital cities. They have had fun playing ‘I Spy’ and identifying London’s famous landmarks.
Year 2:
This half term, Year 2 have been learning how to tell the time. They enjoyed making their own analogue clocks to help them practise.
Year 4
We learnt all about the impact plastic pollution is having on our environment and then we made posters to share our knowledge with our local community.
Year 5
This term Year 5 went on a residential trip to Whitemoor Lakes Activity Centre. They spent two nights away from home and faced many outdoor challenges. Year 5 enjoyed the experience of being more independent away from home and learning new skills such as fencing, trekking, abseiling and climbing.
Year 6
Over the February half term, Year 6 were set the challenge to follow a recipe and bake a cake for under £2. Lots of them rose to the challenge!
