We look forward to preparing the children for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Year Three is a special year and the children will deepen and strengthen their relationship with God and each other.

In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we find God's unconditional forgiveness and as a result we are called to forgive others. 

In the Sacrament of First Holy Communion, we receive Jesus for the first time. 

Throughout the year, the children will participate in a range of activities to ensure that they are prepared to receive the Sacraments, such as:

Weekly Collective Worship 

Masses in school 

Retreat Days

'I Belong' Books

I Belong is a programme that contains lively, colourful material in which illustrations and examples are used to reflect the world where today’s children live and experience faith. This will enable the children to create a personal momento of this special time in their relationship with God.

As the children prepare for their Sacraments, it is very important that they attend Mass weekly.
