Dear Year Six,
Thank you for your hard work this term. I am delighted that you have made such good progress and grown in confidence. You should be very proud of the work that you have completed. I look forward to working with you in the Spring Term, to further develop your knowledge and understanding of the Year Six Curriculum.
Our next topic is ‘A Child’s War.’ Find time over the Christmas holidays to read through the knowledge organiser on our class page, to familiarise yourself with the background knowledge to our topic. Please email any additional research or projects you completed to discover more about the impact of World War Two. I have also attached a book list linked to our topic, if you have Christmas money to purchase a Year Six quality text.
Our next two Gospel Virtues are ‘Grateful & Generous.’ It would be lovely to hear how you are going to strive to be more grateful and generous next term.
Remember to ‘Keep Christ in Christmas’ by attending Mass at church or live stream a Mass online.

Remember to live stream a Mass this weekend to celebrate the Feast of Christ the King. On this Feast, we also celebrate National Youth Sunday. This is an opportunity to recognise young people as a gift in the church, enable youth ministry and the parish community to celebrate young people and affirm the contribution of young people in the Church, as well as those who work with them.
This year's National Youth Sunday theme is 'Together', reflecting the Pope's recent comments about togetherness in response to COVID-19. https://www.stchadscathedral.org.uk/
