School Uniform

We believe that school uniform helps us to create a sense of belonging and a calm working atmosphere. It promotes an image that shows our school community off to advantage when assembled together or when away from school on educational visits.

BOYS

  • Plain grey school trousers or shorts
  • White shirt with a school tie
  • Black suitable school shoes
  • Purple school sweatshirt
  • Plain grey or black socks

GIRLS

  • Plain grey school skirt, pinafore or trousers
  • White shirt with a school tie
  • Black suitable school shoes
  • Purple school sweatshirt or cardigan
  • In summer, girls may wear full purple gingham dress or grey shorts/culottes
  • Plain white or grey socks
  • Plain black, grey or purple tights

PE KIT

  • Plain black shorts, jogging bottoms or leggings without any logos
  • Purple round neck t- shirt with school badge
  • Black school pumps velcro or elasticated or sports trainers can be worn for outside PE/ 'Active Days'
  • Pair of short white socks
  • School sweatshirt/cardigan or school purple fleece

Parents must write a note in their child’s planner if they are unable to wear the correct uniform for any reason. Hair that is long enough to be tied back must be tied back with a plain black or purple hair band. Dyed, shaved and or patterned haircuts are not suitable for school. Jewellery, including earrings, should not be worn to school. Children may wear a simple wrist watch.

ALL uniform MUST be clearly labelled with the child’s name.

Pupils are responsible for their own uniform.

As we are now holding 'Active Days' and children are coming to school wearing their full PE kit once or twice a week, we have an option of purchasing a purple school fleece from an online shop.

The school will not be stocking the fleeces and they are paid for directly to the company and sent to the home address.
