Dear parents,

Please find attached Reception’s knowledge organiser for this half term for our new topic, Space. Over the next 6 weeks, we will be learning all about what lies beyond our planet. We will learn about our sun and how it warms up our planet, how gravity keeps us from falling off the ground and about people who study stars. We have chosen this unit to inspire children to think beyond their immediate environment and begin to ask scientific questions.

Please also find attached a list of story books we will be looking at in class over the next half term. If you have any of these in your own personal library at home please discuss them with your child at home.
