Autumn 2

On Friday 22nd December, Reception walked to the post box to post their letters to Santa!

Year 1

The children in Year One enjoyed visited St Jude’s Catholic Church to light a candle at the crib of the baby Jesus. 

Year 2

Year 2 created their own Nativity scene that they could take home and share with their families.  The moveable pieces allows them to retell this special story from the beginning to when the Magi brought gifts to the newborn King. 

Year 3

Year 3 supported asylum seekers and refugees by donating toiletries to St. Chad’s Sanctuary. 

Year 4

Year 4 have made Christmas cards to give to the residents of Tandy Court. 

Year 5

 

Year Five visited Tandy Court care home to sing Christmas carols.  They brought Christmas joy and happiness to the residents.

Inspired by Greta Thunberg and the Catholic Social Teaching principle of stewardship, Year 6 have written speeches and made posters to create awareness of the impact of climate change on our planet and what we can do to help.
