Orange Landmark Day

On Monday 21st March, our School Council representatives went to Birmingham City Centre to form a human chain around Carrs Lane Church to oppose the Nationality and Borders Bill.

At St Alban's, we want to make a stand against the Anti-Refugee Bill and call for a more compassionate approach. We believe strongly that all individuals should be treated fairly, with respect and dignity.

We oppose the principle of treating refugees differently based on how they arrived here rather than their need for protection so therefore, would like to see the removal of Clause 11.

Our School Council made their own banners and signs to show their thoughts on the Border's Bill and to send refugees messages of welcome and love!
