This week for homework I have sent you home with a sheet to practise column addition, just like we've been doing in class. Try and set your calculations out neatly, and write one digit in one square.

This week we have been practising subtracting a 1-digit number from a 2 digit number. Play this game (- numbers within 20) to practise some more. Can you post the letters to the post box with the correct answer? You might like to have a go at the addition too!

English 

Use this game to design a Christmas jumper. Then, write 4 sentences to describe your jumper! Make sure you include some adjectives - remember, no more than 3 together! Use commas to separate your adjectives. 

 

Here is a description of my Christmas jumper to help you: 

 

My Christmas jumper is green, sparkly and warm. On the front of my jumper is a picture of a cute penguin wearing a red, fluffy Santa hat. The sleeves are covered in white, shiny dots that look like snow! My favourite thing about my jumper is the sugary, red and white candy-cane the cheeky penguin is trying to hide.
