During the season of Lent we are called to reflect and ask God for forgiveness. It is a special time to celebrate the reconciling love and the healing graces our Lord offers us.
Reconciliation is what God does. Receiving it and celebrating it is what we do. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a most natural way to celebrate God’s forgiveness and love.
During this season of forgiveness and penance, Year Three made the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Father Phillip spoke to the children about how to make their confession and used the Penitential
Act to explain how to make a good confession. When we confess our sins, we strengthen our relationship with God.
Lenten Stay and Pray
We invited parents and guardians to our 'Stay and Pray' sessions. Each class prepared their own prayer service and joined with their families in prayer to remember Jesus' journey to His death and resurrection.
CAFOD Walk For Water
As part of our Lenten fundraiser, our school community stood in solidarity to support our global neighbours.
The whole school walked five miles around the local area, we made banners to show our community what we were fundraising for. We raised an amazing £1564.02 for CAFOD!
