On the Feast of St. Alban we have a whole school day of celebration. We always have a special Mass in our school hall and welcome family and parishioners. We go on a 'Witness Walk' in our local area to celebrate our faith with the community.
St Alban sheltered a priest and refused to renounce his faith and was beheaded. St Alban became the first Christian martyr in Britain. He is the patron saint of refugees.
As part of our celebrations, we reflect on our own personal journey to sainthood and our call to holiness.
