Catholic Life

Our Faith

Our Catholic faith is central to all that we do at St Alban's School and Christian worship is an integral part of our school life. It inspires our mission of ‘Following in the footsteps of Jesus, we love, live and learn together.'

We aim for every child to develop a personal and unique relationship with God.  We believe that Christ is at the Centre of all that we do. This means we integrate the Gospel values and the teachings of the Catholic Church into every aspect of learning, teaching and the totality of school life.

We offer a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum to each child to meet their spiritual, moral, social, vocational and cultural needs to ensure their journey into adulthood is a journey of faith which recognises that true justice and peace requires respect for everyone.

During Advent we prepare for the coming of Jesus at Christmas.

During the holy season of Lent, we are called to strengthen our faith through prayer, fasting & almsgiving.
