Forest School

We are very lucky: not only do we have a great school field, but also a wonderful Forest School area, which we have worked hard to develop over the last few years - the ideal location for us to explore, have fun and learn in the outdoor environment.

Forest School is an inspirational concept providing learning opportunities through practical activities in an outdoor environment.  Children enjoy the freedom to explore and experience the natural world in all seasons and in all weathers.  Forest School embraces an approach of nurturing, supporting and developing the self-esteem of participants.  It is an ideal environment in which to develop innovation, language skills, problem solving, risk taking, creativity and teamwork.

Our Forest School sessions are led by Mr Griffin, a Level 3 Forest School qualified practitioner.  For further information about Forest School, visit the link below, or come and have a chat with Mr Griffin.
