We hold introducing age-appropriate Gospel Celebrations of the Word: KS2 children gather on Monday mornings, while Reception and KS1 pupils have their celebration on Wednesday mornings. This structure allows our staff to tailor their approach and speak directly to each age group's level of understanding, helping our younger and older children alike to engage more meaningfully with Scripture and deepen their relationship with God through worship that truly resonates with where they are in their faith journey
Throughout the year, we follow a comprehensive plan of prayer and liturgy that enriches our children's spiritual lives and strengthens our school community. This includes pupil-prepared prayer services where our children take ownership of leading worship, fostering their confidence and deepening their understanding of faith.
Our House team meetings provide opportunities for children across year groups to come together in prayer and fellowship, while Faith Friends meetings encourage peer support and spiritual mentorship. Each class will also have the opportunity to lead a class assembly, sharing their learning and faith journey with the wider school community.
Additionally, we host 'Stay, Pray and Create' sessions throughout the year, inviting parents to join their children's classes for special times of prayer, reflection, and creative worship. These varied opportunities ensure that prayer and liturgy remain vibrant and meaningful parts of our children's daily experience, helping them to grow in faith both individually and as part of our Catholic school family.
Our Friday Celebration Assembly takes place at 9:10am, and we warmly welcome parents to join us for this special time of recognising our children's achievements and living out our Gospel values together. Please look out for your child's name in the newsletter to know if they will be receiving a certificate.
